Key information

As an Activities Coordinator, you will support people with diverse needs, including learning and physical disabilities, to enjoy meaningful and engaging experiences. Working hours for this role are 30 hours per week, 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday in the day centre.

About the role

  • As an Activities Coordinator, you will be enthusiastic, compassionate, and passionate about empowering people to reach their goals. 
  • A strong communicator with a positive, flexible attitude, you should work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and running engaging sessions is essential. 
  • Experience in a Day Centre is desirable, and knowledge of British Sign Language or Makaton is an advantage. Creative individuals with transferable skills are also welcome to apply.
